Introduction

This document walks you through disabling compressed graphics (also known as .art files) in AOL version 9 for Windows.  You should only do this if you are saving images for use on your eMerchantClub Web site, and they save as .art files instead of the required .jpg or .gif files.

Instructions

Click on “Settings”.  The AOL Settings window appears.

Click “Internet Properties”.  The AOL Internet Properties window appears.

Click the AOL Browser tab.

Make sure the option “Never compress graphics” is selected.

Click the OK button to close the AOL Internet Properties window
