Saving Graphics in AOL 9

Introduction

When using AOL, you may have a problem saving graphics to your computer.  You  may be unable to find a picture you saved, or AOL may be saving as a .art file (logo.jpg.art, or logo.art), or you may have a problem uploading the files to your e-commerce site (due to .art instead of .jpg or .gif).  When this happens, try changing the way AOL saves graphics by following these directions.

Instructions

From the main page, click on Settings.

Next you will see a list of options. In the essentials tab, search for the "Internet

[Web] Options" link and click on it.

The AOL internet Properties window will open. From there, click on the "AOL Browser"

tab.

In the section marked "Web Graphics" click on the button that says "Never compress graphics."

Then go back to the "General" tab. Click on the Delete Cookies button, and then click ok when it asks.

After that, click on the Delete Files, then click ok when it asks.

Finally click OK at the bottom of the AOL Internet Properties window.
