Clear Cache in Internet Explorer 7 - Windows

Introduction

This article walks you through the steps to clear the cache from Internet Explorer 7 for Windows.

NOTE: Certain versions of Internet Explorer provided by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) or Search Engine Portals (such as Yahoo) have a different menu configuration than the standard version. If you have one of these versions, contact your ISP for instructions on how to delete your temporary internet files.

Instructions

On the Tools menu, select Internet Options

The Internet Options dialog window will appear.

Click the    button.

On the Delete Browsing History screen, click the  button (and then click Yes), and then click the  button (and then click Yes).

Click  at the bottom of the Delete Browsing History page, and then click  at the bottom of the Internet Options window.

Restart the computer.
