Introduction

This article helps you learn how to delete a Child Department.

Child Departments contain products, and do not contain other departments.  Child Departments must be listed under a Parent Department.

Instructions

Enter your Site Manager.

Click the Departments link.

Find the department you wish to remove.  Either use the Search feature, or the left- and right-arrows to find the page your department is listed on.

Click the  button next to the Child Department you wish to remove.

If the department contains products, a screen will warn that deleting the department will also delete the products.  You can either move the products to another department (using the Department Products feature), or you can delete the department (and all products contained) by clicking the  button.
