Add a Non-SMC Product

Introduction

This article helps you learn how to add a non-SMC product to your eMerchantClub e-commerce Web site.

 

 

Instructions

Step 1

Sign in to your Site Manager.

 

Click the Product List link.

 

 

Click the Add non-SMC product link

 

 

Step 2

Enter a unique alphanumeric ID for this product.

 

 

Enter a name for the product.

 

 

Enter a short description for the product (will be displayed when a customer first sees the product).

 

 

Enter a long description for the product (will be displayed when a customer clicks on the product picture).

 

 

Enter a retail and non-discounted price for the product.

 

 

Enter a Goldenrod or Open House price for the product.

 

 

Enter a Yellow or sub-wholesaler price for the product.

 

 

Specify which Child Department you want the product listed in.  A product can only be in one Child Department.

 

 

Specify whether or not the product is taxable.  If you are not sure, contact your local State Board of Equalization.

 

 

Specify whether or not you wish to charge shipping charges for shipping this product.

 

 

To upload an image which is currently on your computer, click the Upload Image link.

 

 

Click the  button, and specify which file you wish to upload.  The image must be in .jpg format, and must be smaller than 75kb in size.

 

 

After you specify the file, click the Open button, and then click the  button.  The filename should appear in the Image File box.

 

 

Click the  button.
