Introduction

This document explains how to change the retail price of all SMC products on your web site.  Please read the entire document before performing these steps, as this affects the retail prices of all of the products on your entire site.

Instructions

Step 1:  Enter the Product List

Click on the  link under the Products column

From the Site Manager’s Main Menu

From any other Products menu item

The link will appear in one of the two places above

Step 2:  Enter the price change

To mark the prices up (make them higher than SMC Suggested Retail Price), enter the amount (as a numeric value) to mark the prices up, and then click the  button.  e.g.,  will add 15% of the SMC Suggested Retail Price to your store’s retail price of the product.

To mark the prices down (make them lower than SMC Suggested Retail Price), enter the amount (as a negative numeric value) to mark the prices down, and then click the  button.  e.g.,  will change your store’s prices to 15% less than the SMC Suggested Retail Price.

The prices should change as displayed below

Prices at SMC SRP
(Retail)

Prices 15% above SMC SRP

(Retail +15%)

Prices 15% below SMC SRP

(Retail -15%)

Option:  Reset Prices

To change the prices back to the SMC published retail price, press the  button.
