Introduction

This document explains how to change the Sub Wholesaler (Yellow and Goldenrod) price of all SMC products on your web site.    Please read the entire document before performing these steps, as this affects the retail prices on your entire site.

Instructions

Step 1:  Enter the Product List

Click on the  link under the Products column

From the Site Manager’s Main Menu

From the Products Menu

The link will appear in one of the two places above

Step 2:  Enter the price change

Goldenrod Price is the Open House price, approximately 37% less than retail price.

Yellow Price is the Sub Wholesaler price, approximately 45% less than retail price.

These prices are only guidelines, and you can adjust them using this tool.

To make the price a discount from the retail price, enter the discount amount (as a numeric value) in the  box, and then click the  button.  e.g.,  will discount your store’s current retail price by 35%, making the Goldenrod or Yellow price = 65% of the retail price.

To make the price higher than retail price, enter the value as a negative number in to the same box, and then click the  button.

To mark the prices down from the SMC published Goldenrod or Yellow Prices, enter the discount amount (as a numeric value) in the  or  box and click the  button.  e.g., will change the Brass/ships Cargo Lantern from the SMC Goldenrod Price of $85.30 to $72.51 (and all other SMC product’s Goldenrod prices to 15% less than standard Goldenrod price).

The prices should change as displayed in the three examples below

To change the Goldenrod or Yellow prices back to the SMC published values, press the  or  buttons.
